1. Nasal irrigation

One of the best tips to get through allergy season is to try doing nasal irrigation with a neti-pot (a small teapot like product). It is a very simple yet effective technique of rinsing the sinuses of allergens and irritants with water. Make sure to use filtered water and avoid tap water.

2. Fresh juices

3. Local raw honey

Eating honey that was harvested from the area you live may help you build a resistance to the pollen and allergens in that area. Make sure the honey is raw and unprocessed, and is from a reputable source. Add a teaspoon of raw honey to your tea or coffee. Add more to taste if necessary.

  • evening, as this is when pollen counts are at the lowest.
  • Wear gloves and a mask while gardening
  • Reduce exposure to indoor allergens as well
