According to Islam tradition, the 99 names of Allah(Asma Ul Husna) revealed by the Creator (الله) (Allah) in the Qur’an in several Surah.

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Allah has ninety-nine Names, one-hundred less one; and he who memorized them all by heart will enter Paradise.” 

— Sahih Bukhari, Vol. 9, Book 93, Hadith 489

“Memorized by heart” which is mentioned in hadith implies that
1) Memorizing them
2) Understanding the meaning
3) Acting in accordance with the meaning.
For example, So if a person knows that He(Allah) is one, he will not associate anything else with him. etc….
