The Victory Day 16 December is the historic Victory Day of Bangladesh. On this day,
the Pakistani Army surrendered unconditionally. With the surrender of the Pakistani Army, a new nation named Bangladesh was born. But the birth of Bangladesh cost so many lives. It took a lot of blood during the nine month’s war of liberation. On 25 March, the cruel Pakistani Army swooped down upon the unarmed men, women and children of Dhaka. They started massive killing of the Bangalees. But the Bangalees rose in heroje revolt and fought against the Pakistani Army after the declaration of independence.
